Navy anode
Navy anode is installed to protect the leg from corrosion.
If the anode has been depleted, it should be replaced to maintain corrosion protection. A stainless screw holds it onto the electric outboard propeller shaft. When replacing ensure there is a good electrical conection between the anode and shaft.
Mounting hardware included.
